Vtg 1960s Bra Brassiere Girdle EMPTY BOX & "Mad Men" Era Advertising Pin-Up Girl Vintage Photo for Perma-lift Girdle
This rare cardboard box from the early 1960s held a Perma-lift Long Leg Pantie Girdle, Size Small, and style #3818.
The box also states that “Long Leg Can’t Ride Up Ever” & “No Bones About It – Stays up without Stays.” It must have been incredibly comfortable, for the original owner to have kept the box for the last 60 years.
And it does look wonderful on the pin-up beauty on the front in Bra, Girdle, and elbow length white evening gloves.
The back of the box recounts even more wonderful features of the Girdle, as well as advertising the Perma-Lift Magic Inset Bra— “the lift that never lets you down.”
It also promises a firm, high, youthful bustline that makes you lovelier than before! All that for only .50!! Both bra & girdle were made by A. Stein & Company of Chicago, New York, Los Angeles & Toronto—made in USA and Canada.
