Description

Vintage 977 American Flyer Lines Operating Caboose.
Introduced in 1955, this operating caboose was part of the product line through 1957.
The body was painted Tuscan and was lettered in white.
The car had a sheet metal frame and sintered-iron truck side frames.
Illumination and operating knuckle couplers were provided.
A figure on the rear platform moved.
This figure has painted on facial details dating it to circa 1955-56.
One window is missing. I have no means to test so I cannot guarantee that this car operates.
This caboose appears to me to be in Like New condition; please refer to the pictures to determine the condition.

If you happen to purchase multiple items, they may be sent together to save on shipping. They will be carefully packed and generally shipped as soon as possible after payment clears. Very large packages may be shipped via UPS. In the unlikely event there should be damage during shipping, buyer agrees to process any claim eligible for insurance coverage directly through the carrier. If carrier tracking indicates an item has been delivered, but somehow you did not receive it, buyer agrees to follow through with the local  carrier and/or postmaster and process any claim eligible for insurance coverage directly through the carrier. If carrier tracking indicates an item has not been delivered, the insurance claim will be handled on my end.
