I planted over 100 hydride popular sand the next day they where gone by my local deer. So the search for deer guards that don’t cost more than the trees are worth.
I actually make them from something else. They will fit a 1 3/5” tree and I use zip ties and weave them threw the webing they work great.
I waited until the trees where a 1 “ thick they still stripped the bark off so leave them on.
They are flat but I roll them up for shipping.
