Pair Vintage Just-Rite Black Corded Clam Shell Castanets Clappers Flamenco VGC

This pair of vintage castanets are in very good condition, with just minor edge roughness, otherwise fine. They have a good, sharp sound, but I don't know what they are made of, definitely not bakelite. I found another pair, but no info on (hyphenated) Just-Rite brand. They have ornamental braided fabric cords, and come in a vinyl pouch, which may or may not be original. They measure 3" long, and 2-1/4" wide.
