Hi Marty... thank you once again for being the best eBay seller I've met. Scott's son, (Talon... kewl name the boy has) is very eager to get his.  Scott, like myself wants our young riders to be safe.  Knowing how well made your impact shorts work makes me feel that much better when he's riding.
To answer your question, yes, I have compared other brands.  I have found that they are one of two things, either way too little padding and in the wrong places... or way too much padding that it restricts movement.  Most are hot, made for hockey or snowboarding, which is way uncomfortable for warm weather sports such as motocross.
Your impact shorts are extremely well balanced.  They fit snuggly, yet breathe very well during active sports.  They have a great balance of padding and protection while allowing a free full range of motion.  The tail bone pad is also a must have area or protection that some of the others lack.  Your impact shorts also have kidney protection, which is seldom seen in the other brands.
I know that if the other motocross riders knew about these, and how well they were made, you'd have a hard time keeping them in stock.

These are great for snowboarding.... use it twice already and don't feel any pain at all. the foam is not to thick so moving around is not a problem.... My friends love it too, others might order also.
